10 Minutes with Brooke Thomson
Here it goes..

Women on music videos.
What’s your favourite meal?

A good balance of both.
What’s the funniest things that’s happened to you lately?
What’s the ultimate dance move?
A good hair whip.
Have you got any pre-performance rituals?
Nothing out of the ordinary, just a good stretch and a laugh with friends.
If you weren’t a dancer, what would you be?
Probably a child psychologist. That was the course I got accepting to in uni the year that I started dancing at ikin.
Favourite hobby? NOT DANCING
Watching dance videos.
At the moment, anything by Kehlani!
Tell us the coolest thing about you…
I started dancing when I was 20 turning 21.
If you could go back in time, what advice would you give your younger self?
Believe in yourself. If you want it, go for it and push your boundaries.

When people don’t use their indicators when driving.
Last passport stamp?
New Zealand BUT I am going to New York, LA, Las Vegas and Canada and the end of this month!
When times get tough, what keeps you going?
Well, I always say it is better so say “oh well” then “what if”?
Where do you want to retire?
Somewhere on the gold coast.
Introvert or extravert?
A mix of both.
Any inspirational words for younger dancers out there?
Just show up – Anthony Ikin 2015 (first day of full time) I followed this piece of advice every single day in my two years of full time training, and have to say it is one of the main reasons I have gotten to where I am today.
What’s next for you?
Hopefully an international dance contract.
We believe that to be the best, you must train with the best! Joining Ikin Dance’s full time dance course allows you to do just that, with completing your 4th term in Los Angeles.
