Ikin Dance Australia is one of Queensland’s leading Dance and Fitness studios, with over fifteen years of industry experience. Hailing from the Gold Coast, its Director, Anthony Ikin, has an extensive history both as a performer and choreographer, including Sport Aerobics World Titles to success on the worldwide television hit ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. Anthony and the Ikin Dance team, can conceptualise, produce and then create memorable entertainment events across a broad spectrum of genres. They have created bespoke events that include Flash Mobs utilising 300+ performers, to jaw dropping corporate performances and everything in between. In fact, Ikin Dance has been successfully providing entertainment solutions to hundreds of satisfied clients for over seventeen years!
Ikin Dance also provides the Gold Coast Titans football team with their professional NRL Cheer Leading squad, The Hogs Breath Café Sirens. Ikin Dance has partnered with the Titans since its creation ten years ago, lighting up stadiums across the South East with a consistently high level of professional entertainment. The Hog’s Breath Sirens are celebrated for their ability to interact with crowds to encourage their support and create memorable sporting and entertainment experiences.

Anthony Ikin | Creative Director
Anthony Ikin is a National, Australasian, European and World Aerobic Champion. Ikin was also a soloist in the world famous cabaret ‘Moulin Rouge’ in Paris, performed alongside Natalie Bassingthwaite and John Farnham in ‘Grease’ the arena spectacular and was a top 10 finalist on the Network Ten debut series of ‘So you think you can dance’! His passion for this industry does not stop there, he now devotes his time between managing his studio Ikin Dance and also choreographing for productions both here and across the globe! To name a few but not limited too: Universal Studios Japan, Commonwealth Games, Thunder From Down Under Las Vegas, Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy and many more!
Amanda Taylor | Choreographer
Amanda Taylor started dancing at 5 years of age under the tuition of Peta Norton. Studying all styles of dance from Ballet to Hip Hop, Amanda has travelled the world as a professional dancer. From cruise ships to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014, she has also performed alongside such artists as Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy, Basement Jaxx and many more. Amanda now heads up our in-house dance agency Chase Creations as the Talent Manager. When Amanda isn’t in the studio she spends her time choreographing for many events and mentoring dance talent all over QLD.

Kat Officer | Events & Administration Manager
Kat’s passion for dance started at the age of 4 and very early on she knew that a life in dance was her destiny. This passion made her excel in many areas of the dance industry and also inspired her to coach others in all genres of dance, acrobatics, cheer and musical theatre. In 2015 Kat contacted Ikin Dance interested in studying dance full-time. After defying all the odds Kat managed to fundraise enough money to achieve her goal of coming to Australia from her home country of Scotland to study at Ikin Dance Full-Time for their 2017 intake. Since joining the Ikin Dance team Kat has worked with many clients such as Bonnie Lythgoe, Warner Brothers Movie World, The Gold Coast Titans and many more. After showing excellence in her ability not just as a dancer but also event management, Kat was offered a permanent position at Ikin Dance as the Event and Administration Manager. Kat promises to see your project through from conception to the post event de-brief and guarantees to add some wow-factor to your event.
